Integrated Healing

With so much of environmental pollution, toxicity, radiations, bacteria-viruses, we tend to get sick sometimes. Integrative healing combines both the conventional medical practices and alternative and traditional healing methods for a patient’s recovery.

Conventional/ Allopathic- A system of medical practice that uses drugs to treat disease. Usually these drugs will have some other side effects too.

Alternate Healing- Alternative Healing has its roots from the lives of people practicing age-old medicinal remedies and abiding by the basic laws of nature.

  • Ayurveda– The five elements-Space, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth combine with each other to form three distinct doshas (humors) i.e. Vata, Pitta and Kapha. The theory is all about the relationship and balance of these doshas. Any sort of disproportion or imbalance between these three humors is the beginning of a disease. The treatment is all natural.
  • Homeopathy– The body, mind and emotions are fully integrated. The homeopath prescription is based on a patient’s physical and psychological symptoms. The medications are natural (plant or mineral extracts).
  • Acupressure– By learning how to stimulate your own pressure points, you can relieve minor or moderate symptoms, and reduce the need for nonprescription drugs. Reflexology, Acupuncture, Su-jok Do-in, G-Jo, Shiatsu, and Myotherapy are other related practices.
  • Chiropractics– It is manipulation and specific adjustment of body structures (as the spinal column) and to treat disorders of the joints and muscles and their effect on the nervous system.
  • Emotional Freedom Technique– Tapping on the body’s energy meridians, while thinking of a negative emotion, alters the body’s energy field, restoring it to “balance.”
  • Meditation & Mudras– Our powerful thinking organ barely gets a sleep even while we are asleep. Meditation is the only time, we can make our mind relax by slowing down our thought process. Vipassana meditation allows free flow of thoughts and their observation. Sahaja Yoga primarily focuses primarily on balancing the right (action) and left (emotion) channels within our body.Kundalini Yoga treats the seven Chakras (centres )of our spiritual energy. Mudras  are hand gestures with which we can lock energy and guide its flow and reflexes to the brain.
  • Astrology-. As per Vedic Astrology the nine planets and the twelve houses in a birth chart govern different body parts, organs and their function. The twelve signs have their inherent rulership in an astrological chart and body part rulership in the Kaal Purush. Vaastu, Feng Shui, Tarot are other related metaphysical techniques that may help health benefits.
  • Other Alternative methods– Reiki and Pranic Healing are based on no-touch life-force energy healing theories. Shamanism healers communicate with the spirit world to know cause and cure. Hypnosis is used for medical purposes to relieve anxiety, get a picture of a person’s sub conscious level, improve or alter behavior. Color therapy is based on body chakras with the concept that each of the seven chakras is associated with a particular color; that can affect our wellness.
