Yoga for conception

Women who are trying to conceive should do following exercises to improve the fertility power-

Lotus pose (Padmasana)– Sit with crossed legs and keep the back straight. Then place the back of

your hand on your knees. This exercise energizes the pelvic region which is primarily

responsible for the fertility and balances the hormones.

Butterfly Pose (Titli Asana)– It is similar to Lotus pose but in this, the feet will be together, and you

have to pull them close to the body while keeping the back straight. It makes the muscle

relax and increase the blood flow in Pelvic region.

Child Pose– Get don on your hand and knees. Stretch your arms forward and hand above

your head, which is placed against the floor. It invigorates the body and makes it stress

free.

Pelvic Tilt Pose– Lie down your back on the floor and keep the arms on the floor at a

side. Now relax your shoulder and bend the neck in the upward direction. Lift the pelvis

part as high as you can when you breathe out. Take a slow long breath and start lowering

the spine on the floor while keeping the back on the floor. It strengthens the Pelvic region

and increases the blood circulation in that area.

All the Yoga Asana and exercises should be done in an adequate manner with proper

guidelines in order to get fruitful results. Women should take given below precautions to

avoid any unfavorable result-

 

  1. Never do any Pre-natal exercise, which stretches your body vigorously, especially the abdominal muscles. It may affect all the connective tissues and injure the body during pregnancy.
  2. Avoid any exercise, which is discomfort to your body. Do not compress your abdomen in any condition.
  3. Pre natal yoga and exercises can give great results only if you know how to perform it rightly. By adopting the correct poses, you can enjoy physical and metal benefits when you are trying to conceive.
